Howie Roseman doesn’t miss. Whether it’s roster building, making trades, or dropping absolute gems on podcasts, the Eagles’ GM is always in his bag.

Today, we have a clip featuring Howie’s most legendary quote yet.

Appearing on Todd McShay’s show, Roseman was asked about the difference between winning his first Super Bowl (2017) and his second as the Eagles steamrolled the Kansas City Chiefs last month in Super Bowl LIX.

Let’s just say Howie’s response wasn’t your typical “It’s an honor, we worked really hard” answer.

“The first one is almost like having sex for the first time. You’re just so happy you had sex, it’s not even the quality of it. The second time it’s like I can almost have fun and enjoy this.”

This is next-level GM speak. No “one game at a time,” no “we just executed our game plan,” just full transparency from a guy who has built two Lombardi-winning teams and is feeling himself.

And honestly? He’s not wrong.

2017 was a blur. The team was underdogs the whole way, pulled off a miracle with Nick Foles, and the entire city was just in shock and awe that it actually happened.
The second time, you have a little more experience and can really enjoy the victory.

Howie absolutely nailed this analogy, and in typical Eagles fashion, he did it in the most unapologetically hilarious way possible.

And poor Bob Lange, the Eagles’ SVP of Communications, who caught the stray of all strays at the end of the clip. Imagine trying to keep a straight face in the room when your boss just casually compared winning the Super Bowl to losing his virginity?

Howie all horned up is a dangerous Howie, and honestly? I wouldn’t want it any other way.
