WATCH: Former Cowboys’ DE Demarcus Lawrence admits he was never going to win a Super Bowl if he stayed in Dallas
Everyone knows the Dallas Cowboys aren’t winning a Super Bowl anytime soon — it’s just nice to hear one of their own players admit it for once.
Former Cowboys pass rusher Demarcus Lawrence hit free agency this offseason and ended up in Seattle, signing a three-year, $42 million contract.
Once he arrived, Lawrence was taking a ton of interviews with the local media. During one of them, he was asked how he felt about leaving Dallas. He got a little sentimental, but even with the strong feelings he had towards the city, Lawrence admitted that he was never going to win a Super Bowl if he stayed in Dallas.
