Jordon Hudson, 72-year old Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, obviously has been forced to wade through a tidal wave of internet noise since making her relationship with the hoodie-wearing football legend public.

But out of all the messages, all the comments, all the jokes—this is the one that got Jordon Hudson to fire back? An Eagles fan named Abby Riley slid into Hudson’s DMs with a simple, if slightly blunt, observation.

Now, for someone who’s probably received far worse on a daily basis, you’d think Hudson would just scroll on by.

Instead, she took this as a prime opportunity to play grammar police, reposting the message with a corrected comma and question mark. And for some extra spice, she threw up a poll asking her followers to vote on whether Abby’s bigger crime was bad punctuation or bad manners.

Now look—I’m all for a good clapback, but grammar shaming is never the appropriate comeback. The internet is a lawless wasteland where people spell “definitely” as “definately” every single day, and we just keep it moving.

I bet if you go back and look at pretty much any article I have ever posted on The Liberty Line, it’s riddled with mistakes but that hasn’t stopped traffic so in the end, who gives a shit? If the best counterpunch you’ve got is “you forgot a comma,” congrats, you officially lost the fight.

Pretty wild that this was the DM that crossed the line. Not the 8,000+ other messages that probably say much worse? You’re dating a man 48 years older than you. Jordon Hudson has to realize that people are gonna talk. That’s just showbiz, baby.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. Of all the messages she’s surely received, why did she choose to torch an Eagles fan? I have a theory: Bill Belichick still isn’t over Philly.

Between that soul-crushing Super Bowl LII loss and that ruthless E-A-G-L-E-S chant that followed him to Chapel Hill, Philly fans have been living rent-free in Belichick’s head for years. The man is wired for football revenge, and maybe—just maybe—some of that is rubbing off on Jordon Hudson? Who knows, but that’s not going to stop Eagles fans regardless.

Is Jordon Hudson an Even Bigger Loser Than We Thought?

Look, I hate to pile on, but at some point, we have to ask the real question: Is Jordon Hudson even more of a loser than we initially thought? Why is she even reading her DMs, let alone responding?

If you’re 24 years old and dating a man who looks like he was personally present for the invention of football, you know people are going to talk.

There’s no way she’s sitting around, blissfully unaware, thinking, Wow, this is totally normal and not a single soul finds this weird. She knows. And because she knows, she’s trying way too hard to convince herself (and everyone else) that she’s not bothered.

If she was truly secure, she would ignore it like a normal person. Instead, she’s on Instagram, scrolling through her messages like it’s homework, correcting grammar, and running polls about punctuation.

That’s where we are now? You’re dating a walking relic, and the best defense you’ve got is “Well, actually, you forgot a comma.” I mean, my god. You might as well just put “This really hurt my feelings” in your bio and be done with it.

I want to defend an Eagles fan here. I really do. But sliding into Jordon Hudson’s DMs to tell her that her relationship is weird? That’s just as embarrassing. Maybe put down the phone and touch some grass.
