Caitlin Clark forces the WNBA to bend the knee finally, in which they had no choice
It brings me great joy to have the true privilege of writing this blog. If you’re new around here, I am the official Caitlin Clark journalist and merchant of this website. With that said, let’s dive into the latest news surrounding the face of women’s basketball.
The WNBA has spent years struggling to find relevance, battling for viewership, and honestly, trying to stay afloat financially. But now, after years of pushing narratives no one cared about, they’ve finally figured it out. They’ve bent the knee to Caitlin Clark.
Which is quite the flip from the narrative I was forced to write a blog on back in December: WNBA forces Caitlin Clark to “bend the knee” after being named Time’s 2024 Athlete of the Year >>
The WNBA bends the knee to Caitlin Clark (finally)
The 2025 national broadcast schedule just dropped, and—shocker—Clark’s Indiana Fever will have 41 of their 44 games on national TV or streaming. That’s a record-breaking number, and yet, it’s still not enough. Every single game, every single practice, every single postgame presser—Caitlin Clark should be on national TV every time she so much as picks up a basketball.
all eyes on us.

Shoutout to whoever runs the Indiana Fever’s social media account. They clearly understood the assignment here. All eyes are indeed on the Fever and Caitlin Clark more specifically. With that said, it’s my turn to cook.
The WNBA Needs Caitlin Clark More Than She Needs Them
This isn’t a league built on generational superstars like the NBA. The WNBA isn’t some well-oiled machine that was always destined for success. No—they are clinging to survival, and Caitlin Clark is the only reason they haven’t completely flatlined.
Let’s break it down:
- WNBA games with Clark last season averaged 1.2 million viewers. That’s TRIPLE what they were getting without her.
- Her games doubled in-person attendance across the league.
- The Fever sold more tickets in a single offseason than any team in WNBA history—because of ONE player.
The WNBA isn’t elevating Clark—she’s elevating them. And they know it.
Every Caitlin Clark Game Should Be Nationally Televised
So where can you watch Clark save the WNBA this season? Here’s the breakdown:
- 5 games on ABC
- 5 games on ESPN
- 8 games on ION
- 6 games on Prime Video
- 3 games on CBS
- 4 games on CBS Sports Network
- 10 games on NBA TV
This is cute and all, but why are three of her games NOT on national TV? Why are we limiting access to the one thing actually driving this league forward? If the WNBA had any business sense, they’d put every single Fever game on national TV. Scratch that—Caitlin Clark should have her own 24/7 WNBA channel.
The Fever’s season tips off May 17 and runs until September 9—which means that from now until then, the WNBA’s only priority should be maximizing Caitlin Clark coverage.
At the end of the day, the WNBA owes its future to Caitlin Clark. She’s the lifeline keeping this league alive, and it’s about time they’ve finally recognized that. If the WNBA wants to stay relevant and grow, they need to continue building around her and ensuring fans have every opportunity to watch her. Without Caitlin Clark, the WNBA would be nothing, and everyone in the league needs to get on board with that reality.
But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered all season long as we follow Caitlin and the Indiana Fever on their journey to the WNBA Championship in Clark’s second season. It’s going to be a wild ride, and you won’t want to miss a second of it.
