Landon Dickerson is bartending for a great cause in Montgomery County on April 3rd
You can’t teach size, you can’t teach grit, and apparently, you can’t teach selflessness either — because Landon Dickerson already gets it.
The Eagles’ All-Pro center is stepping out from the trenches and into the bar scene on Thursday, April 3, when he’ll be guest bartending at Eagleville Taphouse to raise money for the Montgomery County Hero Fund, a local nonprofit that supports the families of first responders injured or killed in the line of duty.
It’s a ticketed event — $40 in advance, $50 at the door — and all proceeds go to the fund. Your ticket gets you draft beer, wine, soda, and snacks from 6 to 8 p.m. Liquor will be available for purchase, for those in need of something stronger after being stuck with the Sixers and Flyers after a Super Bowl winning season from the Birds.
And look, it’s not the first time Dickerson’s done this. The guy helped raise $8,000 for the same cause at a similar event in Conshohocken last spring.
It’s clear this isn’t a one-off photo op — it’s something he actually cares about.
In a league where plenty of guys clock out after practice and disappear into private life, Landon Dickerson keeps showing up — in the community, at fundraisers, and yes, at bars, pouring pints for people who could use a little support. And that matters. A lot.
This isn’t about publicity or fluff. It’s about using your platform for something meaningful — and Landon Dickerson’s doing exactly that.
So if you’re in the area, go raise a glass with No. 69 (nice), throw on your midnight green, and chip in for a good cause. Philly shows up for its own, and Landon Dickerson keeps proving he’s one of us. Shoutout to Lando for continuing to do things the right way — on the field and behind the bar.
