Somebody call a priest because the Lakers just got exorcised by Josh Giddey at the buzzer.

In one of the wildest finishes of the NBA season, Giddey called game from half court, drilling a no-doubt heave as time expired to give the Chicago Bulls a 119-117 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.

Not only did Josh Giddey finish with a monstrous 25-14-11 triple-double, he put the final nail in a fourth-quarter Lakers meltdown that deserves its own horror movie.

The Lakers led by 18 in the fourth quarter. With 12 seconds left, they were still up five and yet somehow, they lost.

Patrick Williams splashed a corner three. LeBron, fresh off trolling Stephen A. Smith, threw the softest pass directly to Giddey who found Coby White for the go-ahead triple. Austin Reaves responded with a slick drive to give the Lakers a 117-116 lead with 1.2 seconds left.

Giddey catches the inbound, takes two dribbles, launches from the logo… cash. Crowd erupts. Lakers bench stares into the void. Giddey hits ‘em with the “yep, that’s me” look like he’s narrating the intro to a teen drama…pun intended.
