WATCH: Phillies fans erupt as Saquon Barkley & Brandon Graham bring the Lombardi Trophy out to the first pitch
If you didn’t know any better, perhaps you got too drunk off those Phillies-branded Budweiser’s before the game, you’d think the Phils just won the World Series with how loud Citizen’s Bank Park got when Saquon Barkley made his way out of the tunnel.
Saquon and his former teammate Brandon Graham had the opportunity of throwing out the ceremonial first pitches today for the home-opener. BG then brought out Saquon Barkley AND the Lombardi Trophy with him.

Really doesn’t get any better than that.
Coming out to throw the first pitch for the Phillies home-opener with the Lombardi Trophy is just icing on the cake for the magical ride the Eagles took us on en route to a Super Bowl LIX victory. Let’s just hope that magic carries over to our baseball team because the 76ers and Flyers aren’t touching championship hardware anytime soon.

The Phillies are coming into their home opener riding high, taking two of three in Washington, D.C., before heading home today to a sold-out CBP to face the Colorado Rockies.
After a signature slow start, Edmundo Sosa and Kyle Schwarber just broke this game open and The Fightins now lead 4-1 in the top of the eighth inning.

The best fans in the world
The Phils sit just a half-game behind the Marlins in the division, and if today proved anything, it’s that Citizen’s Bank Park is still the most intimidating home-field advantage in baseball.
