CJ Gardner-Johnson is running his mouth about the Eagles again

CJ Gardner-Johnson simply can’t keep his mouth shut whenever he leaves the Philadelphia Eagles. It feels like a biennial tradition at this point.

Now that the dust has settled on the CJGJ trade, he felt the need to throw some shade at his former team — just like he did when he left the first time.

On Instagram, CJ Gardner-Johnson shared a story saying he saw some people’s “true colors” after his departure.

I never want to be the guy who tells athletes not to speak their minds — but when you’re constantly saying things for no clear reason, it gets tough not to be.

CJ Gardner-Johnson has been on three teams in the last three years. The Eagles brought him back last offseason, only to move on from him again a year later. At this point, I trust the Eagles’ judgment a lot more than I trust whatever Gardner-Johnson is posting on social media.

What’s the point of even sharing something like that with your followers? Maybe fame does something to your mindset, because from the outside looking in, it just feels unnecessary and kind of weird. No one really cares — except maybe you.
