WATCH: Charles Barkley reignites feud with the women of San Antonio behind enemy lines at Final Four fan fest
The NCAA Final Four was in San Antonio this weekend, which meant the great Sir Charles Barkley was on the scene to cover the electric tournament finale. Despite loving being in San Antonio, the former NBA star turned legendary analyst has long had a beef with the city due to one gripe of his: the big ole women.
Charles Barkley had to remind the crowd at Capital One Jamfest that, while he adores their city, they have some big ole women down in San Antonio:

It’s been one of his most famous bits, lasting decades during his stint on Inside the NBA. It even got to the point where Spurs fans got a group of skinny women together at a game with t-shirts calling him out.
If you’re unfamiliar with the bit, someone has blessed the timeline with a compilation of his best shots at San Antonio. But even if you’ve seen these clips a million times like I have, I know you’ll still enjoy a rewatch.

Now, I’ve never been to San Antonio. Lord knows if I’ll ever find myself down there. But, thanks to The Chuckster, there are exactly three things I know about the city.
- The Spurs
- The River Walk (which is apparently just a dirty creek)
- Big Ole Women
If there’s one thing about Chuck, he’s committed to the bit. The crowd was booing him right when he started talking because they knew what was coming, but he didn’t care.
A weaker man would have folded and tried to appease, but not Chuck. He followed through and still got a cheer in the end. He is truly basketball media’s greatest showman.
