Eagles legend Ray Didinger reveals his top prospect for the Birds in 2025 NFL Draft
Every Eagles fan knows who Ray Didinger is — he needs no introduction. Even though he’s retired, Didi pops in every now and again to talk some Birds.
He hopped on the 94WIP Morning Show Tuesday morning to discuss the Eagles offseason thus far and the upcoming NFL Draft. When asked about which prospect he’s keying in on this year, Didinger pointed to Marshall pass rusher Mike Green.
Ray Didinger on the Eagles-Mike Green fit
“I mean I am head over heels in love with Mike Green and look, he’s not going to fall to you at 32 [overall],” Didinger explained. “Last year if you remember we had this conversation before the draft and I said Quinyon Mitchell was my number one guy. Well this year my number one guy is Mike Green. And if you’re as high on him as I am, you’re going to have to move up from 32 to go get him, probably somewhere in the teens. But the fact is with all the draft picks you have both this year and next year, that’s doable.”

There aren’t many voices I trust more on all things Eagles than Ray Didinger. When he speaks, I listen — the man just knows ball.
Marshall’s pass rusher, Green, has surfaced as a popular Eagles target in a number of mock drafts this offseason.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing in at 251 pounds, Green posted an eye-popping 88 athleticism score at the NFL Combine — the highest among all edge rushers and defensive ends.
His junior campaign at Marshall was nothing short of dominant: 84 total tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 17 sacks, three forced fumbles, a pair of pass breakups, and one fumble recovery across 13 games.
