Justice for the Cut Throat Cowboys who were arrested after riding their emotional support horses through a Walmart in Louisiana
Look, you can’t call yourselves the Cut Throat Cowboys and then follow it up by telling the cops you were just out for a ride with your emotional support horses—but I’ll be damned if I don’t respect the hell out of it anyway.
Four men—ranging in age from old enough to know better to barely voting age—are now facing charges for galloping their horses through a Walmart in Baker, Louisiana.
Charges include disturbing the peace and unlawful posting of criminal activity, because of course they filmed the whole thing. Can’t be a cowboy these days without content.
Justice for the Cut Throat Cowboys!
NEW: Louisiana man says he rode his horse through a Walmart because he had to bring his "emotional support animal" with him.

Lmao.
Mason Webb and the "Cut Throat Cowboys" went viral after they rode their horses around the store.

The group, who dubbed themselves the “Cut Throat Cowboys,” looked more like the “Polite Prank Posse” as they trotted past the registers and down the aisles. No stampede, no destruction, just a little Monday night equestrian mischief. Shoppers weren’t screaming. No one was trampled. Aisle 7 didn’t erupt into chaos.
In fact, most of the footage looks like a Walmart fever dream crossed with a rodeo commercial. One rider, Mason Webb, summed it up perfectly in a post-arrest interview:
“It was fun. We were famous. That’s all.”
And honestly? That might be the most honest statement we’ve ever heard from someone facing charges. The Walmart Wranglers weren’t hurting anyone. They weren’t even shoplifting. They were just…riding.
The Cut Throat Cowboys. Four dudes, their noble steeds, and a burning desire to become a viral sensation in a store that sells sweatpants in bulk and stocks live bait next to Hot Pockets.
Obviously, the Cut Throat Cowboys shouldn’t have been riding through Walmart.
Walmart doesn’t have a stable out back. There were no horse parking signs. And yeah, there’s the whole “you can’t ride a horse through a store built for plastic shopping carts” thing. I’m not going to pretend however, that Walmart is some sacred institution. This is the same place where you can witness a toddler eating Doritos straight off the floor while their mom argues with someone over the last inflatable pool.
Compared to that, a few horses riding past the clearance rack feels downright refreshing.
To be clear, I am not endorsing random horse rides through corporate retailers. I am simply saying that if you’re going to get arrested for something, let it be for riding your emotional support stallion through Walmart with your friends.
So yeah—“Cut Throat Cowboys” might be a bit of a stretch for a group whose defense hinges on “but our horses help with our feelings.” I’m not gonna be the one to knock ’em for it.
Justice for the Cut Throat Cowboys.
Let the boys ride. Let the horses trot. And maybe—just maybe—Walmart should consider installing a few hitching posts out front. Just in case.
