Pirates fan falls over 21ft tall outfield wall in shocking scene

Gutwrenching scenes at PNC Park on Wednesday night when a Pirates fan fell out of the elevated right field stands. Medics rushed to the scene to tend to the injured fan after what was just an incomprehensible fall.

This Pirates fan took a nasty tumble from 21 feet up and hit the ground hard:

Jesus Christ. I’ve watched this video countless times, and I just can’t understand how this would happen unless it was intentional.

This is one of the consequences of being first to the story. I have no idea if this guy is okay or not, and I’m not much of a praying man, but I’m praying that he is.

Reactions to this moment going viral on social media have been mixed. Some people are not happy that this video is circulating, and to them I say, well, nothing.

Others are speculating that it was a bold act of protest against one of the worst organizations in professional sports. Some are even praying that it was known creepazoid Zack Hample. I definitely fall into one or both of these camps.

No matter how you slice it, I’m just glad medics got to him and they got this ill-fated Pirates fan off the field and to a hospital as quickly as possible. Plus, the Pirates won the game. Maybe it was some motivation? Who knows.
