Taylor Swift catches strays from President Trump during Eagles White House visit
Taylor Swift has officially become collateral damage in the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl celebration tour — and not just from fans in the stands.
As the Birds visited the White House this week to commemorate their 40-22 beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, President Donald Trump used the occasion to take a not-so-subtle jab at the pop star. While praising the Eagles for their “surprising” win, Trump couldn’t resist slipping in a dig: “I was there along with Taylor Swift — how did that work out?”
It’s the latest in a long line of shots Trump has taken at Swift, dating back to her endorsement of Kamala Harris and other Democratic candidates during the 2024 election cycle. After the Super Bowl, he even claimed Swift was “booed out of the stadium” and proudly suggested his MAGA supporters were behind it — though most people with functioning brains know those were Eagles fans letting her hear it.
Taylor Swift Was Never Gonna Get a Warm Welcome in Philly
Let’s be honest — Taylor Swift was never going to get a hero’s welcome at the Super Bowl, especially not against the Eagles. Her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made her a natural target, and Philly fans do not discriminate when it comes to letting people know how they feel. That includes pop royalty.
Even some Eagles players got in on the action. Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was spotted during the team’s victory parade wearing a shirt that read “Swifties can LIX my balls,” putting a not-so-subtle bow on what’s been a very one-sided beef between Swift and the city of Philadelphia.

Swift has yet to respond — publicly at least — but if history is any indication, she’ll probably just write a Grammy-winning diss track about it.
Until then, the Eagles are Super Bowl champs, and Taylor Swift is 0-1 in games that really matter to this city.
