Eagles rookie jersey numbers officially dropped

The moment every Eagles fan didn’t know they needed is here — the rookie jersey numbers have officially been released. And yes, we’re already assigning emotional significance to a bunch of numbers that may or may not mean absolutely anything.

Still, this is Philly. We overanalyze everything. So here’s your first look at what the Eagles’ 2025 draft class will be rocking when they hit the field this summer:

Eagles Rookie Jersey Numbers: A Breakdown

  • Jihaad Campbell – #30
The Alabama linebacker lands in a classic thumper number. Could be a fan favorite if he starts laying people out early.
  • Andrew Mukuba – #24
Mukuba gets a real-deal defensive back number. Expect this one to fly off shelves if he ends up replacing CJGJ like we think he will.
  • Ty Robinson – #95
Big, mean, and made for trench warfare. Defensive lineman with a ‘95’ is a spiritual successor to the old dogs like Darren Howard. Let’s hope Ty lives up to the nickname “Vanilla Gorilla.”
  • Mac McWilliams – #22
Cornerback in #22? We’ll take it. Feels like the kind of number that could end up on a training camp hype reel with one-handed INTs.
  • Smael Mondon Jr. – #42
A no-nonsense linebacker number for a no-nonsense SEC hitter. Looks like he’s ready to replace the Nakobe Dean dream that never took off.
  • Drew Kendall – #66
If you’re wearing #66, you better be eating glass for breakfast. Let’s see if the Boston College center can bring some nasty to the interior.
  • Kyle McCord – #19
Quarterback in a fringe wide receiver number? Bold move, Cotton. Here’s to hoping McCord gets more love than Marcus Mariota did in the QB2 spot.
  • Myles Hinton – #78
Standard issue lineman number. Clock in, protect your quarterback, and go home. That’s the job, and Hinton better get it done.
  • Cameron Williams – #73
Another rookie lineman, another number straight out of Madden Create-a-Player. We’ll know Cam’s legit once Jeff Stoutland starts praising him in weird, cryptic ways.
  • Antwaun Powell-Ryland – #93
That’s a pass-rusher’s number, no doubt. If this guy even thinks about putting up Haason Reddick-level sack totals, he might become a cult hero.

Eagles Fans: It’s Never “Just a Number”

Whether it’s superstition, nostalgia, or irrational belief in numeric destiny — Eagles fans know better than anyone that jersey numbers matter. We still associate #20 with Brian Dawkins, #36 with Westbrook, and now, maybe one day, #24 with Mukuba if the kid lives up to the hype.

Until then, we’ll keep projecting our hopes and fears onto these rookie digits like it’s a sacred tradition.

Training camp can’t come fast enough.
