WATCH: Howie Roseman laughs at Falcons’ trade package during NFL Draft
Eagles GM Howie Roseman has a rich history of fleecing NFL organizations when it comes to trades — just ask the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans.
Rival general managers got the memo this year, as hardly anyone was willing to trade with Roseman during the 2025 NFL Draft.

Trade compensation likely contributed to the lack of deals as well.
After selecting linebacker Jalon Walker at No. 15, the Falcons made a bold move to re-enter the first round and draft edge-rusher James Pearce Jr. In exchange for picks No. 26 and No. 101, Atlanta sent No. 46 and No. 202, along with a 2026 first-rounder.
That’s a hefty price to pay, even if you’re filling a position of need. Following the trade, cameras caught Howie Roseman chuckling and saying, “I understand why people aren’t taking our deals.”

The Eagles later moved up one spot by sending a fifth-round pick to Kansas City to draft Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell.
Roseman’s reputation around the league holds. He will never overpay.
