Per the morning crew over at 97.5 The Fanatic, the Eagles might be opening their season against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.

Wouldn’t be the worst choice for a season opener. The NFL likes to toss in an up-and-coming team to face the defending champs in Week 1. They did it two years ago with the Lions vs. Chiefs, and countless times before that. A Lions vs. Eagles matchup in Week 1 this year probably would’ve been my number one choice, but you can’t have everything, yanno?

While I would love to kick the shit out of Detroit, I’m sure I’ll be able to find joy in watching Caleb Williams run for his life while Jalen Carter an the crew chases him down.
