I can’t stand people who turn everything into a political debate on social media. Jalen Hurts has been catching heat ever since his “scheduling conflict” kept him from attending the Eagles’ White House visit last week.

Then he showed up at the Met Gala with his wife on Monday night, and the outrage somehow got even louder. Fox News — America’s most trusted source for serious journalism, of course — dedicated an entire article to fans losing their minds over Hurts attending the Met Gala while skipping the White House.

This shit cracks me up. I’ll never understand the urge to tweet stuff like this. Nobody cares about your political or sports takes. Not one single soul.

No one opens Twitter thinking, “Gee, I really hope to see some political commentary about Jalen Hurts today!” And if you do ever have that thought, take a step back, punch yourself in the face three times, and throw your phone or laptop out the window.
