Phillies-Cardinals Rained Out: Split Day/Night Doubleheader on deck for Wednesday at The Bank
Tuesday night’s Phillies-Cardinals game has been officially washed out thanks to the nasty weather rolling through Philly.
That means the two teams will now wrap up the series with a split day/night doubleheader Wednesday—because, of course, there’s no such thing as a day off in May when you’ve already burned one trying to dodge rain.
Cardinals – Phillies postponed until Wednesday, May 14th
Here’s the rundown:
- Game 1 stays put at 1:05 PM. If you had tickets for the day game, you’re good to go.
- Game 2 now set for 6:15 PM. If you had tickets for Tuesday’s washout, they’re now valid for the nightcap Wednesday.

No wild voucher system. No guesswork. Just two games, one long day at the ballpark. Bring your umbrella, maybe a poncho, and definitely your patience if the weather hangs around.
Originally, it was going to be Jesús Luzardo on Tuesday and Aaron Nola on Wednesday. No official word yet if the order gets flipped for the doubleheader. Stay tuned. We’ll update you if Rob Thomson and the crew decide to juggle the deck.
After last night’s 3-2 loss to the Cards, might not be the worst thing to get two cracks at them in one day.
