Jalen Carter snubbed from PFF’s Top 10 players under 25

The Eagles are a super team — until it’s time to rank individual players. It’s a familiar pattern, and this time, Jalen Carter is the one in the crosshairs.

Pro Football Focus released its list of the Top 25 Players Under 25, and somehow, Carter didn’t crack the top 10. He landed at No. 17.

Obviously, I disagree with the list. I’d take Jalen Carter over half the guys on it. But what really bothers me is what I mentioned at the top.

Any time fans try to discredit someone on the Eagles, they fall back on the “super team” narrative — as if being surrounded by talent somehow makes you less impressive. The idea being: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. But in Carter’s case, he makes the whole better. He elevates everyone around him.

And let’s be real — if the Detroit Lions actually had three of the best players under 25, they wouldn’t have flamed out in their first playoff game last year. Ball doesn’t lie. Carter helped win a Super Bowl. Detroit’s “cornerstones” disappeared when it mattered most.

Stuff like this just adds fuel to the fire for the 2025 run-back. September can’t get here fast enough.
