Here are the 10 NFL Teams who prevented the Tush Push ban from happening
The most unstoppable play in football isn’t going anywhere. NFL owners voted 22–10 in favor of banning the Tush Push — also known as the Eagles’ signature quarterback sneak formation — but that fell two votes short of the 24 needed for approval.
That’s right, the same score the Eagles hung on the Packers in their January playoff win ends up being the final tally that keeps the play alive.
You couldn’t script it better.
This wasn’t just a procedural vote. The Eagles came to fight. Owner Jeffrey Lurie delivered what was described as a “passionate but fair” defense of the play during the league’s spring meetings on Wednesday.
Jason Kelce, who may be retired but is clearly still pulling weight, presented video evidence that showcased the play’s legality, safety, and effectiveness — and probably threw in a pancake block or two for good measure.
It worked, with some additional help from nine other NFL teams who were smart enough to remain on the right side of history.

Ten teams total. That’s it. Just ten that stood on the right side of history and said, “Play better defense.” The rest of the league? Still salty they haven’t figured out how to stop a legal football play that happens to be more effective than any other short-yardage option in the game.
In a world where the NFL constantly tinkers with its rules to favor flash over substance, this was a win for the trenches. A win for physical football. A win for the Jason Kelces and Jalen Hurtses of the world who just want to go get one damn yard.
So yeah, remember the ten teams who had the guts to vote no. The rest can stew in their salt — while the Eagles line up and shove it down their throats again this fall.
