Nick Sirianni Eagles Contract Extension

Here’s a list of insane Nick Sirianni stats that prove he’s already one of the best coaches in NFL history

Nick Sirianni has a new contract, another Super Bowl ring, and a résumé that already puts him in some rare air. Whether you’re a diehard believer or still recovering from his flower analogy in Year 1, the facts speak for themselves. Sirianni’s first four years in Philly have been nothing short of absurd.

Here are 11 absolutely ridiculous stats that prove just how dominant Sirianni has been — and why the extension was a no-brainer.

1. The Only Coach in History to Beat a Team in the Super Bowl After Losing to Them
You want redemption? Sirianni’s got it. After the Eagles lost to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII, Sirianni ran it back and beat the same team two years later. That’s never been done before — by anyone. Not Belichick, not Parcells, not anyone.

2. More 14-Win Seasons Than Any Coach in Eagles History
Before Sirianni showed up, the Eagles had exactly one season with 14 wins — 2004 under Andy Reid. Sirianni has two of them (2022, 2024) in just four years. Only six coaches in NFL history have multiple 14-win seasons: Shula, Ditka, Gibbs, Seifert, Belichick, Reid… and now Sirianni.

3. He’s in a Club With Lombardi and Halas
Only three coaches in NFL history have a win percentage of .667 or better in both the regular season and the playoffs. Vince Lombardi, George Halas… and Nick Sirianni. That’s not just elite company — that’s royalty.

4. The Winningest Stretch in Eagles History
Since starting 3-6 in his rookie year, the Eagles are 45-14. That’s the best 59-game run in franchise history. No other Eagles coach — not Reid, not Pederson, not Vermeil — has had a run like this. Period.

5. One of the Best Ever Through Four Seasons
Sirianni’s 48 regular-season wins are the second-most in NFL history for a coach through his first four years. Only George Seifert had more (52 with the 49ers). He’s ahead of names like Bill Walsh, Sean McVay, and Mike Tomlin.

6. Playoff Regular
Sirianni is one of only six coaches in NFL history to reach the postseason in each of his first four years. That list includes John Harbaugh, Paul Brown, Chuck Knox, and Bill Cowher. Nobody else in Eagles history has done it.

7. Six Playoff Wins in Four Years
Only Joe Gibbs (7) has more playoff wins in his first four years than Sirianni’s 6. That includes wins over Tom Brady’s Bucs, Aaron Rodgers’ Packers, and Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs. The only other coaches to combine six playoff wins with a 70% regular-season win rate? Vince Lombardi and John Madden.

8. He’s the Only Eagles Coach With a .700+ Win Percentage — Ever
Sirianni’s regular-season win percentage (.706) isn’t just the best in Eagles history — it’s not even close. Greasy Neale, who coached the team from 1941–1950, is second at .594. That’s a Grand Canyon-sized gap.

9. He’s Tied or Beaten Hall of Famers
Among all head coaches in NFL history with at least four years, Sirianni’s win percentage ranks fifth all-time. The four names ahead of him? Guy Chamberlain, John Madden, Vince Lombardi, and George Allen. Every one of them is enshrined in Canton.

10. Dominating the Win Streak Department
The Eagles have had six separate win streaks of five or more games in just four years under Sirianni. That matches the total number of 5+ game streaks from the entire 17 years before he arrived. For even more context, it also matches Andy Reid’s total over 14 seasons.

11. Better Playoff Record Than Most Hall of Famers
Out of 94 coaches who’ve coached at least five playoff games, Sirianni’s 6-3 record (.667) ranks tied for 14th all-time. He has a better postseason win percentage than 22 of the 29 head coaches in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Nick Sirianni is a Winner. Nothing Else Matters.

Say what you want about Nick Sirianni, the fire-up speeches, or the sideline antics. The guy wins football games at the highest of levels. He’s is 6-3 in the playoffs, has a better regular-season record than nearly every coach of the last 50 years. Ah, and in case that hangover has finally worn off, Sirianni just led the Eagles to two Super Bowls in four years, bringing home the Lombardi Trophy in LIX.

The extension is just the start. Sirianni’s not done — he’s just getting started.
