Cooper DeJean

Cooper DeJean has been on absolute heater since the Eagles won the Super Bowl

Look, I don’t know what Cooper DeJean’s offseason training schedule looks like, but I know vibes when I see them — and Cooper has been on an all-time heater since picking off Patrick Mahomes and helping the Eagles win the Super Bowl.

First he starts his own podcast — “The Exciting Mics” (incredible name, by the way) — then he’s banging the drum at a Union game, and not even five hours later he’s ripping Dreams and Nightmares with the squad at Memories in Margate like he owns the damn summer. You can’t script this stuff.

We’re talking about a 20-something Super Bowl champ vibing at the beach bar while Meek Mill’s iconic anthem rattles the walls. And you know what? Good for him. This guy could be in a film montage narrated by Jason Kelce at this point. Bang the drum, dap up the fans, hit the Commodore Barry and make it down the shore in time to shotgun a High Noon before Dreams drops? That’s elite-level conditioning if you ask me.

While that Meek Mill song might feel played out to some of us in Philly—especially if you were actually bumping it back in 2012 when Dreamchasers first dropped and not just one of the bandwagon hoppers from the 2017 Super Bowl run—you can’t deny how sick it is to see a white boy from Iowa come here and fully embrace the culture.

Down the Shore, Solo but Never Alone

What makes all of this even better is how wholesome Cooper DeJean’s Memorial Day Weekend vibes really were. From the looks of it, the man hit the Jersey Shore solo—no entourage, no camera crew, just Coop pulling up to Memories in Margate to party, vibe, and give people a good time. You gotta love it.

One TikTok user, @krazykatie777, even posted that her first day on the job bartending included none other than Cooper DeJean. Imagine clocking in for your first shift and realizing your new coworker for the night is the guy who just picked off Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl. Unreal. Coop was right there behind the bar, dancing to Dreams and Nightmares, taking pics, smiling with fans—just living it up without a care in the world.

And of course, somewhere in a dimly lit room inside WIP headquarters, there’s a producer screen-recording every single clip of Cooper at a bar this summer, saving it in a folder labeled “WHEN HE GETS BURNT IN COVERAGE WEEK 3.” That’s the playbook. We’ve seen it before. But let me be crystal clear: if Cooper DeJean gives up a touchdown in September, it’s not because he had a vodka cranberry in Margate four months earlier. This ain’t that.

Let the man enjoy his summer — he’s more than earned it.
