Eagles bold prediction sees two legends return in 2025

The Eagles have built a reputation as one of the most relentless, well-run organizations in the NFL, and it looks like that culture of excellence might be getting a huge boost.

According to a bold prediction by Conor Orr of Sports Illustrated, two of the most beloved players in franchise history — Jason Kelce and Brandon Graham — could be coming back to the Eagles in official capacities for the 2025 season.

Two Eagles legends return in 2025? I can dig it

Kelce and Graham retired in back-to-back seasons, leaving massive shoes to fill both on the field and in the locker room. Kelce hung up his cleats after 13 seasons, and Graham called it a career after 15 years with the Birds. These arenโ€™t just players; theyโ€™re foundational pieces of what the Eagles have become — a team thatโ€™s always in the championship conversation.

Orr believes that Jason Kelce, who spent this past year working for ESPN, will step away from the bright lights of the media world and return to the rhythms of an NFL season with the Eagles. It makes sense. Kelce has never been a guy to shy away from the grind, and heโ€™s already shown he canโ€™t fully stay away from the game — just ask owner Jeffrey Lurie, who had Kelceโ€™s back defending the โ€œTush Pushโ€ at league meetings.

And then thereโ€™s Brandon Graham, whoโ€™s been as clear as day about wanting to stay involved with the team that drafted him. Grahamโ€™s been vocal about wanting to meet with Lurie to map out a new role. For a young Eagles defense thatโ€™s already loaded with talent, having a leader like Graham around — someone whoโ€™s been through the wars and knows what it takes to win — would be massive.

Bringing back these two legends wouldnโ€™t just be a feel-good story; it would be another sign that the Eaglesโ€™ way of doing things is different. This team doesnโ€™t just churn through players and coaches. They build something real — something that lasts. And for a team thatโ€™s been to two of the last three Super Bowls, thatโ€™s the kind of continuity that can keep them at the top.

At this point, it almost feels like a matter of when, not if. The Eagles know how to get the most out of their people, and if Kelce and Graham are back in the building — officially — itโ€™s going to be another huge win for the franchise.
