Eagles star may be feeding LeSean McCoy info he shouldn’t be

Eagles wideout AJ Brown is about as anti-media as it gets, or at least that’s what he wants us to think.

During the latest episode of the Jalen Hurts Hate Fest, also known as The Facility on FS1, LeSean McCoy shared a tidbit that was seemingly fed to him by Brown.

LeSean McCoy says AJ Brown told him that Jalen Hurts runs the #Eagles Offense, not the OC: “AJ told me, well.. players tell me- The offense is the offense. They don’t care who the coordinator is, you come over here and fit the Jalen Hurts offense.”

I want to give AJ Brown the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe he was just casually chatting with Shady, and McCoy decided to run with it for ratings. Nevertheless, AJ should know better by now.

McCoy is part of the media now. He’s not just a friend you can spill information to and expect it to stay between the two of you. This little tidbit that McCoy shared isn’t the end of the world, but it rubs me the wrong way that Brown was the one who told him. Especially after his whole anti-media tirade over the past two years, where he refused to speak to reporters, fired off tweets at 94WIP, and even went on their show just to tell them they suck — it’s just weird behavior.

You also have to consider how anti-Hurts this show is. Every day they roll out Chase Daniel to say the dumbest things you’ve ever heard, with James Jones in the background saying, “preach,” as he nods in agreement. It’s a bad show, so I guess they need something to spark ratings.

Even though this information isn’t exactly earth-shattering — and actually makes sense if you think about it for more than five seconds — these clowns will surely bring it up again. If the Eagles struggle at times next season, they’ll point to this.

I like it when AJ Brown just puts his head down and doesn’t talk to people. That’s when he’s at his best. Let’s get back to that.
