Hate to say it, Nakobe Dean looked terrible in his first pitch for Phillies vs. Braves

I don’t think any of us should expect much from Nakobe Dean this season, unfortunately. Vic Fangio already told the media he’s not even close to returning to the field from his rehab, and Dean’s recent appearance throwing out the first pitch for the Phillies vs. Braves game isn’t going to make anyone feel any better about it.

Not sure about you guys, but I feel like I’m looking at a 50-year-old man in this picture.

He just looks old and out of shape, I don’t know how else to put it. Maybe it’s the camera angle, maybe it’s the lighting. Who knows.

Still, as much as I want Nakobe Dean back on the field and helping the Birds chase a repeat, this isn’t giving me any optimism.
