Caitlin Clark goes on a basketball run of a lifetime in her first game back from injury

Serious question: Where the Hell were you when Caitlin Clark went on one of the craziest runs in basketball history? Remember the date, Saturday June 14th, 2025.

Before we dive into what happened, I want to apologize to my fans, my editor here at TheLibertyLine, Drew Smith, and of course, Caitlin Clark for any grammar issues or anything like that here. As I am trying to bang out this blog during the WNBA’s halftime show that nobody really tunes into anyways.

In front of a sold-out crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday against the New York Liberty, Clark wasted no time making up for lost minutes. She delivered a full-on flamethrower moment in the first half—draining three deep threes in just 38 seconds like it was a casual shootaround.

That’s nine points in under a minute. You read that right. Nine. In. Thirty-eight. Seconds.

We’re not talking about wide-open catch-and-shoot looks either. These were logo-range bombs, off the dribble, and completely disrespectful to whatever “defense” the Liberty thought they were playing.

Speaking of Liberty, be sure to tune in at all times here as I am not only Caitlin Clark’s #1 fan, but I am the best Caitlin Clark blogger in the world. Anyways, back to business.

The Building Erupted—and So Did Clark

You could feel the energy shift. The crowd went absolutely ballistic. It was like the entire city of Indianapolis had been waiting for this moment, and Clark knew it. You could see it on her face—this wasn’t just about points. This was about getting back in rhythm, back in her bag, and back to being her.

After five games on the sidelines, the floodgates burst open. And now, with the Fever fighting to stay relevant in the standings, Clark is back—and she’s pissed off in the best way possible.

I highly encourage you all to read that other blog I linked above. In another universe, I was indeed in attendance for this game.
