Podziemski Mocks Caitlin Clark — Funny Part Is, She’d Cook Him One-on-One

Golden State guard Brandin Podziemski was court side Thursday night for the Indiana Fever vs. Golden State Valkyries game — and boy did he think he was funny. After Caitlin Clark got whistled for a travel in the second half, the camera caught Podz mimicking her move with an exaggerated walk and a cringe little hop/travel motion.

Cute. Really cute.

The funny part? Caitlin Clark would absolutely cook this man one-on-one and I say that without an ounce of sarcasm. What makes this funny is Pods just looks like your typical dork fan that goes to these games and makes a fool of themselves. He doesn’t look like an NBA player.

WATCH: Podziemski mocks Caitlin Clark

Look, it wasn’t a great game for Caitlin Clark. I’m not going to sit here and pretend she lit it up. The Fever lost 88-77 to the expansion Golden State Valkyries — who, credit where it’s due, played a hell of a second half and outscored Indiana 33-18 in the fourth quarter.

Clark finished with just 11 points, went 0-for-7 from three, and turned it over six times. That’s a rough night. But let’s not act like this is anything more than that — a bad game. It happens. She’s coming off an injury, still adjusting to a brutal WNBA schedule, and yeah, maybe the legs weren’t there last night. Nobody’s perfect.

But you know what’s crazy? When Angel Reese shoots 4-for-15, nobody bats an eye. Nobody’s blowing up the timeline with “concern” or clowning her with viral memes. Caitlin Clark has one off night and suddenly every weirdo on the internet with a burner account and a profile pic of a random WNBA player they’ve never actually watched is doing a damn parade.

Speaking of Angel Reese,

We all know if it was her getting fouled like Caitlin has been lately, or even getting mocked by someone court side she would throw an absolute fit. Meanwhile Clark just continues to shake it all off and leave her best on the court.

And again, I’ll remind you all. We are all here to watch Caitlin Clark. And while it’s cute Podziemski is supporting Golden State’s WNBA team, there’s a reason he was trying so desperately hard to go viral mocking Caitlin. If he was mocking another player this wouldn’t even a blog right now, let’s be honest.

You poked the bear Pods…

Of all the many things that makes Clark special, I’d argue her competitiveness may reign supreme to all. And with that said, I’d mark your calendar’s for when the Fever take on this Golden State squad again. I wouldn’t be shocked if Caitlin goes off for 40.

Anyways, this is Steven Conrad Jr. the internet’s best Caitlin Clark reporter signing off. I’ll catchup with ya’ll Sunday when the Fever continue this West Coast trip against the Las Vegas Aces.
