Past Sixers Summer League Debuts: VJ Edgecombe tops the list
VJ Edgecombe officially arrived Saturday night. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft gave Sixers fans their first real taste of what he’s bringing to the table, and let’s just say the early returns are loud.

Edgecombe poured in 28 points, grabbed 10 boards, dished out four assists, and swatted two shots in his Summer League debut against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. He looked fast, explosive, and most importantly, in control.

The VJ Edgecombe Takeover
Edgecombe literally took over stretches of the game. Whether it was attacking the rim, hitting mid-range pull-ups, or posterizing defenders, the 19-year-old wing looked like the most dynamic player on the floor. The dunk of the night belonged to him too.
VJ Edgecombe looked like a guy ready to play real NBA minutes. And if this is what he’s bringing to the table in Game 1 of Summer League, the ceiling for this kid might be even higher than advertised.
Next up for the Summer Sixers
Two more games in Salt Lake before heading to Vegas.
