WATCH: Giants walk off Phillies with insane 3-run inside-the-park home run

The San Francisco Giants ripped the Phillies’ hearts out on Wednesday night with a ridiculous inside-the-park home run to win 4-3.

Giants catch Patrick Bailey sent a Jordan Romano pitch deep (shocker) and totally ruined my night:

It’s official, the Phils are officially snak-bitten in San Francisco. It’s been over a decade since they’ve won a series at Oracle, and the last two losses have been almost too much to bear.

First, Phil Cuzzi completely sold out Orion Kerkering at the bottom of the eighth inning. Now, we were subjected to watching a two-run lead evaporate in a matter of seconds.

I can pretty confidently say I’ve never seen a walk-off three-run inside-the-park home run before, and let me tell you, it did not feel good at all. At the same time, though, I can’t say I’m surprised.

I felt a dark energy brewing, and I just knew this team would find a way to blow the lead. Someone near and dear to me tried to talk me off the ledge and, for the most part, succeeded.

I was not wrong. And, unfortunately, I’m right back on the ledge.

This loss doesn’t just hurt because it’s been back-to-back brutal losses, although that’s a big part of the equation. It stings even more watching the Phillies cede ground to the Mets in the NL East race.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
