WATCH: Influencer accidentally swims in raw sewage, swallows it, tells internet about it like it’s a beach travel vlog

Well, this is absolutely horrifying. Influencer Michelle Sky Hayward, former pro kitesurfer turned content creator, went for what she thought was a peaceful ocean swim that turned out to be a full-on toilet bowl of raw sewage.

Michelle posts a relaxing beach clip to TikTok. You know the type. Water shots, some ambient music, good vibes only but something was clearly… off.

The water looked murky, darker than usual, and oddly foamy. Classic signs of something gross going on like maybe millions of gallons of raw sewage floating around, but she didn’t pick up on it.

The viewers did. The comments flooded in, letting her know she was basically doing synchronized swimming in a septic tank.

She followed up with a response video, (of course) where she admitted not only swimming in the sewage but staying in longer than usual because the water was warmer.

I mean, yeah, poop soup will do that, Michelle…wtf

“It definitely got in my mouth… I tasted some when a wave was breaking near me, and it tasted a lot more salty than usual.”

I mean seriously… why the fuck are you telling us that?

There are things you take to the grave, and that has to be one of them. No one needs to know your post-sewage swim update, Michelle.

Just pack it in and stop posting stupid videos. This should have been the end.

Her husband apparently noticed the “sewage on her face” and they joked about it, thinking it wasn’t real. Bold move. I’m going out on a limb and saying if my wife had human waste on their face, we’re skipping the jokes and heading straight to the ER.

Let’s acknowledge the broader point here. This is the most 2025 thing to happen. We live in an era where people are so glued to content creation they don’t stop to ask, “Is this brown foamy water just weird salt… or is it poop?”

The answer is poop. It’s always poop.

Honestly, this should be required reading for every guy who gets mad when their wife leaves the curling iron plugged in. At least she didn’t accidentally drink a wave of liquid human waste and tell 2 million people about it on TikTok.

Next time someone says “influencers have it easy,” just remember this woman got turned into a viral meme because she unknowingly did the backstroke through a floating porta-potty.
