Seranthony Dominguez traded from Orioles to Blue Jays mid-doubleheader, suits up for new team in game 2
Former Phillies reliever Seranthony Dominguez has had himself quite the day. He was in the Orioles bullpen for game one of a doubleheader against the Blue Jays, but, due to a trade between the two clubs, will be suiting up for Toronto in game two.
Seranthony Dominguez had a few awkward trips to make to get situated with his new team. At least they were in the same building:

We’ve all seen players get yanked from a game mid-trade, but I can’t remember the last time I saw something like this. Odds are, I haven’t in the 27 years I’ve been on this earth.
But, honestly? This is awesome.
Many people are criticizing the Orioles for this decision, citing that it’s an awful thing to do to a person. And, on the one hand, I agree. Banishing a person to Canada is a genuinely evil thing to do.
On the other hand, though, it’s the easiest transition ever. No need to catch a last-minute flight to catch a game, no cleaning out your locker in the home clubhouse.
Just come to the stadium with one team, switch clubhouses between games, and stay behind with your new team. It’s like when divorced parents have the kids stay in one house and alternate who stays there with them.
Okay, it’s not like that at all, but if I were to get traded by a bad team to a good team, this is how I’d want it to go down.
