Gregory Soto blows it for the Mets in spectacular fashion vs. Padres, is still a Phillie at heart
Former Phillie Gregory Soto did his old team a solid on Monday night, blowing a wild game for the Mets in San Diego. The score was 6-6, 1-2 count, with runners on first and second, and two outs. There were many ways to make an out to send the game to extras.
Instead, Soto served up one of the flattest fastballs I’ve ever seen and, as a result, the Padres walked off the Mets:

Hell yeah, brother.
With the division race heating up, the Phillies need all the help they can get, and it’s nice to see an old friend pop up and lend a helping hand. Of course, it’s infinitely funnier when it happens to the Mets.
