According to reports, Mike Missanelli is yet again OUT at 97.5 The Fanatic

Welp, it looks like Mike Missanelli is yet again a victim of Beasley Media Group layoffs.

Multiple sources told our friends over at Crossing Broad that Missanelli was let go by 97.5 The Fanatic on Friday afternoon, despite being under contract through the end of the NFL season. Beasley will reportedly pay out a chunk of that deal, amounting to about five months’ worth of salary.

Mike Missanelli OUT as part of Beasley layoffs nationwide.

Missanelli returned to 97.5 exactly one year ago this week, taking the midday slot with Ray Dunne and Bill Colarulo. Lately, though, it had been more of a solo act, with Ray Dunne producing and occasionally hopping on the second mic.

Bill Colarulo recently moved to PM drive after Tyrone Johnson’s exit, leaving Missanelli in a kind of holding pattern.

If this all feels familiar, it’s because it is.

The Fanatic and Missanelli already had one messy breakup back in 2022 after his relationship with then-cluster manager Joe Bell soured.

Mike’s comeback last year only happened after Bell left and Paul Blake took over. Now, less than a year later, the reunion is over.

Crossing Broad speculates this move wouldn’t happen without a replacement in mind, and all eyes are on Jon Marks. The former WIP host recently left PHLY and is reportedly hunting for a midday gig.

Two departures, two very different eras, but the same ending. Missanelli is out, and The Fanatic, yet again, has a decisions to make.
