Of all the celebrations in the NFL that exist, Saquon Barkley’s now iconic helmet smack after delivering off a home-run play, finds itself in Madden.

For all the Madden haters out there who swear they’re “done buying it” every year… we know you’re lying. It’s football season. That’s typically all it takes. Mix in the fact that Saquon is on the cover, his legendary backwards hurdle in the game, and now his helmet smack celebration and it’s a no-brainer. Go ahead and swipe the card.

The move takes us right back to one of the defining moments of last season during the NFC Divisional Round against the Rams. The Eagles were clinging to a six-point lead late in the fourth. The Linc was buzzing with nervous energy. Then Barkley reminded everyone why Howie Roseman brought him to Philly in the first place.

A 78-yard sprint, leaving the Rams defense in the dust, and another home-run play for a season loaded with them. On his way to the end zone, adrenaline took over. No rehearsed dance, no choreographed team stunt, just Saquon, slamming his helmet with pure, unfiltered hype.

That moment summed up the 2024 Eagles and Saquon Barkley perfectly. It was dominant, explosive, and unapologetically electric. EA Sports clearly noticed, because Madden 26 is making sure every detail of that team lives on in pixel form.
