Dak Prescott once again proclaims Cowboys will make it to NFC Championship

Love him or hate him, one thing no one can ever say about Dak Prescott is that he makes logical, grounded statements. Every year, he declares the Cowboys will be relevant. And almost every year, they get sent home in embarrassing fashion.

Last year, he said the Cowboys were going to win the Super Bowl. They won seven games. This year, he’s telling other NFC contenders he’ll see them in the NFC Championship Game — a game the Dallas Cowboys haven’t been in my entire life (I’m 29 years old, lol).

How many times is this dumbass going to jinx his own team? You think he’s just going to do it every single year until he retires? One can only hope.

I get that you have to believe in yourself and all that good stuff, but keep it internal. Proclaiming you’ll get somewhere always bites you in the ass. You know which team never says stuff like this? The Eagles. You know which team routinely finishes ahead of the Cowboys? Also the Eagles.

Dak Prescott is just braindead and will probably never learn. Good on him.
