The NBA just dropped the 2025-26 schedule, which means we now know exactly when the Sixers will start trying to erase the stench of last season’s 24-58 disaster.

Injuries nuked the roster before they could even get going. Who knows what’s going on with Joel Embiid or Paul George. I can’t even attempt to keep track of their health anymore. Too much stress.

The Sixers’ season opener is October 22nd in Boston against the Celtics. No warm-up game, no easing in. Straight into enemy territory.

• Two separate 5-game road trips.
• A 6-game homestand.
• The 16 back-to-backs are tied for the most in the league

The Sixers finally bring back the Allen Iverson-era black uniforms in a last ditch effort to keep the fanbase together

The Eastern Conference suddenly a little softer thanks to major injuries in Boston and Indiana, there’s a lane for the Sixers to make noise this year, assuming they are the team that’s actually healthy. I wouldn’t hold your breath. Even if they don’t at least we have the black jerseys, right?
