WATCH: Abdul Carter gets flattened in brutal ‘Welcome to the NFL’ moment

Even though I wanted the Eagles to do whatever it took to draft Abdul Carter in this year’s NFL Draft, I now hope he turns out to be complete ass. Why? Because he plays for the Giants. That’s it. End of story.

On Saturday’s preseason slate, Carter got a quick reality check. First, he got buried by a chip block from a tight end. Before he could even recover from eating dirt the first time, he got flattened again — double-pancaked back to back like it was IHOP.

This kind of stuff happens to every rookie, Abdul Carter’s moment just happened to be caught in 4K. Tough break.

Luckily for him, it’s only the preseason and nobody really cares about the preseason. Now, if (or when) Lane Johnson or Jordan Mailata put him on his ass, that’s when I’ll really be grinning. Until then, I’ll take whatever I can get.
