Phillies’ 2026 Schedule: All-Star Game in Philly, Field of Dreams highlight next Summer

Major League Baseball quietly dropped the 2026 schedule on Tuesday afternoon (because of course they did), and for Phillies fans there are some major dates to circle.

MLB Drops the Ball (Again): 2026 Schedule released right after Taylor Swift’s Engagement to Super Bowl LIX loser Travis Kelce

Phillies Opening Day at Home

The Phillies will start the season with a six-game homestand at Citizens Bank Park, opening against the Texas Rangers before welcoming the Washington Nationals. Good way to get rolling in front of the home crowd.

Three Early West Coast Swings

The Phillies are hitting the West Coast hard next season:

  • April: Rockies and Giants
  • May: Padres and Dodgers
  • August into September: Mariners, Angels, and Diamondbacks

That’s a lot of late-night baseball.

All-Star Game in Philly

The biggest highlight of the summer: the 2026 MLB All-Star Game is in Philadelphia. The Midsummer Classic is set for July 14 at Citizens Bank Park.

Shafted…?

I think the Phillies got shafted with the city being the center of the world next Summer. They’ll play only four home games in a 25-day stretch during June-July to accommodate World Cup and All-Star Game in Philly.

Field of Dreams. Nice.

The Phillies and Twins are headed to the Field of Dreams in 2026, which should be cool.

Post-Break Heavyweights

The Phillies will come out of the All-Star break with a brutal but marquee homestand:

  • Mets
  • Dodgers
  • Yankees

That’s nine straight at home and easily the premier stretch of the season.

Division Games Down the Stretch

The Phillies have 26 division games after the All-Star break, which means the NL East crown will once again be decided in the Dog Days. Good news for drama, bad news for anyone hoping the Mets are buried by then.

The Long Grinds

Both the longest home stand and road trip sit at nine games, a manageable setup compared to some seasons past.

Philly gets the spotlight next year with the All-Star Game, and the schedule itself sets up for a wild second half. Big-name series stacked in July, a pile of division games late, and plenty of cross-country flights in between.
