Taylor Swift Travis Kelce Engagement MLB Schedule Release

MLB Drops the Ball (Again): 2026 Schedule released right after Taylor Swift’s Engagement to Super Bowl LIX loser Travis Kelce

If there’s one thing Major League Baseball is great at, it’s getting in its own way. Right on cue, MLB dropped the 2026 schedule in the dumbest way possible, casually sliding it out on a random Tuesday afternoon, minutes after Taylor Swift announced her engagement to Super Bowl LIX loser Travis Kelce.

Perfect timing, guys. Nothing screams “we care about our fans” quite like making sure one of your biggest annual announcements gets buried under Swiftie engagement memes and Twitter meltdowns. Unreal.

I think the Phillies got shafted with the city being the center of the world next Summer. They’ll play only four home games in a 25-day stretch during June-July to accommodate World Cup and All-Star Game in Philly.

MLB Drops 2026 Schedule Drop

And it’s not like the schedule release has never been done well. For years, they’ve dropped it during the All-Star Break when all eyes are already on baseball.

A perfect chance to generate buzz. But no, apparently they’d rather trip over their own shoelaces. Again.

Honestly, at this point, I’m starting to wonder if this is some kind of long-running bit from Rob Manfred. Like, are they trying to be the most clueless sports league in existence because if so, mission accomplished.

Anyway, the schedule’s out. The Phillies and Twins are headed to the Field of Dreams in 2026, which should be cool… if anyone actually hears about it in between Taylor Swift wedding updates.

Never change, MLB. You really are the king of turning gold into dust.

At least the Ryder Cup gets it…
