Cowboys trade Micah Parsons to Green Bay and get absolutely FLEECED in the process
It’s official — the Dallas Cowboys gave in and traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. It wasn’t exactly The Parsons to Philly Prophecy we were foretold, but he’s not in Dallas anymore and that alone makes me happy.
Cowboys send Micah Parsons to Green Bay
In return, Dallas will get two first-round picks, likely picks in the mid-to-late 20’s, and DT Kenny Clark. In short, Jerry Jones got absolutely fleeced.
Compare this deal to the haul Oakland received when they traded Khalil Mack to Chicago:
- Two first-round picks
- One second-round pick
- One third-round pick
- One sixth-round pick
- Conditional fifth-round pick
Dallas got crumbs for an All-Pro player in his prime. Organizational malpractice in its highest form, all thanks to old man Jerry. The Joe Biden of the NFL, if you will.
He thought negotiating through the media, getting old Dallas legends like Michael Irvin to talk to Micah Parsons for him, and refusing to talk to Parsons agent, would actually work. What a fucking idiot! It’s another reminder of bad things truly could be. Luckily in Philadelphia, we don’t have to deal with stupidity like this.
Next week is going to be a bloodbath in South Philly. I can’t wait.
