You really can’t write it any better than this. Michael Irvin went on ESPN to guarantee Micah Parsons wouldn’t get traded. The clip was posted at 4:59PM EST. One minute later at 5PM, Adam Schefter broke the news.

I’ve never seen a take get ripped to shreds this quickly in my life. Irvin is a known Jerry Jones talking head, so of course he was trying to temper the flames. Nevertheless, anyone who saw this situation for what it was — an old, senile man trying to negotiate a contract unethically — knew Micah Parsons was going to get out of there one way or another.

I didn’t think the Cowboys would get robbed blind in the deal, but hey, I’m not complaining.
