Josh Allen Bills Ravens Comeback

Josh Allen and the Bills pulled off one of the most improbable comebacks in NFL history last night against the Ravens

Instant classic. That’s the only way to describe what went down at Highmark Stadium on Sunday night. If you didn’t see it live, you probably wouldn’t believe it.

Ravens led 34-19 with 15 minutes to play

The Bills were dead in the water, trailing Baltimore 40–25 with just 8:37 left. Their win probability bottomed out at 1.1%.

Fans were heading for the exits. The Ravens looked like they were about to stomp out any lingering postseason ghosts from January’s playoff collapse.

1.1% win probability with 8:37 left for Josh Allen and the Bills…lol

Josh Allen Bills Win Probability

Instead, Josh Allen authored the most improbable comeback of his career and the 13th-most improbable win by any team in the last decade.

The reigning MVP shredded Baltimore in the fourth quarter, throwing for a career-best 251 yards in one quarter while also tacking on two rushing touchdowns.

Allen finished the night with 394 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 30 rushing yards, and two more scores on the ground.

Buffalo became the first team in NFL history to erase a 15-point deficit in the final four minutes of a season opener, per Elias Sports Bureau. That stat alone is insane. Since 2000, teams in that situation were 3–2,315.

Three wins in more than two thousand tries!!

Allen completed his final seven passes for 118 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown strike to Keon Coleman to make it 40–32 with under five minutes to go. The Bills never looked back, stringing together four scoring drives in the fourth and capping the night with Matt Prater’s 32-yard field goal at the buzzer to win 41–40.

For the Ravens, it was a gut punch. Lamar Jackson played like a two-time MVP for three and a half quarters, but Baltimore melted when it mattered most. Buffalo, meanwhile, extended its home win streak to 12 and pushed its turnover battle streak to an absurd 23 straight games.

Josh Allen was playing like a man possessed. If this is how the season starts, we’re in for one hell of a ride.
