Oklahoma reporters caught on hot mic disrespecting Temple football
Philadelphia’s own Temple Football is off to a hot 2-0 start. Their next test is 2-0 Oklahoma, who drubbed the Owls 51-3 last season. This is not that same Owls squad, but some rat down in Norman decided to cast aspersions on KC Keeler’s team heading into their Week 3 bout.
These Oklahoma reporters thought it was to compare the matchup to a high school game:

Look, I don’t doubt OU has got a ton of fans coming to the game. Looking at tickets, the entire section right behind their bench is sold out. The cheapest available on the secondary market is damn near $300.
But the play on the field will not be like a high school game. Do I expect the Owls to win? Not exactly. But I expect the Fighting City of Philadelphia to rise up and make some noise. I’m not saying it’s going to be an SEC-level atmosphere, but everyone knows Philly gets rowdy
TU alumni outnumber OU alumni by god knows how many in this region. Not only does this provide some bulletin board material for the players, but the fans as well.
Looks like OU’s coaching staff is paying the Owls the respect they deserve, which is wise.
