It’s Time: Carson Wentz expected to get the nod in wake of JJ McCarthy injury

The time has come. With JJ McCarthy sidelined for Week 3, former Eagles QB Carson Wentz is expected to get the start against Cincinnati.

Nothing is official yet, but all signs are pointing towards a Wentz start next week. And let’s be honest, it’ll be way more exciting than watching McCarthy. If nothing else, Wentz will add some excitement to the game. He’ll make some of the worst plays you’ve ever seen, but that’s all part of the experience, baby. Let that shit fly, Carson.

Funny enough, he’ll be playing against another backup in Jake Browning for Cincy, since Joe Burrow is also injured. Nothing better than a backup QB battle to headline Week 3. I’m here for it.
