Nick Sirianni’s shows off cannon with an incredible challenge flag throw during Eagles win over Chiefs
Nick Sirianni led the Eagles into Arrowhead to battle the Chiefs in Week 2 in a head-to-head matchup that had “Super Bowl rematch” stamped all over it. While the Birds came out with another win, I think it’s fair to say the game itself didn’t suit the bill.
Honestly, I don’t know why anyone takes September football and thinks it’s anything more than a warm up for starters who didn’t play the entire preseason. Mix in a few new coordinators and there’s definitely going to be a “ramp up” period until things start clicking.

I will say, Nick Sirianni is in midseason form and if he actually wanted to, could probably start for a handful of NFL teams in Week 3. The man didn’t just toss a challenge flag, he launched it.
Full wind-up, hips and shoulders engaged, picture-perfect mechanics. It looked less like a coach tossing laundry on the field and more like a quarterback dropping a dime downfield. Most coaches lob the flag like they’re tossing cornhole bags.
Not Sirianni. He let it fly like he was gunning for DeVonta Smith on a go route.
The internet had Nick Sirianni Next Gen Stats COOKING
The challenge didn’t go the Eagles way which was bullshit in itself. Jalen Hurts was clearly across the goal line on the Tush Push but somehow, the NFL couldn’t seem to see the “indisputable evidence” that everyone watching the game at home clearly witnessed.
Fine. Whatever. Hurts and the offense just lined it up again, and a second tush push put six points on the board. I preferred that anyways. The outcry about the Tush Push has reached new levels. I want the Eagles to double the play call next week just to watch everyone suffer.
No doubt the Eagles offense needs to be better. Nick Sirianni knows it. I know it. The players know it. As it stands today, that offense isn’t sustainable. It quite literally looks like a preseason offense but for now, that’s the formula. Win the turnover battle. Dominate the trenches. Punch it in on fourth-and-short because nobody in the league can stop it.
So now Nick Sirianni and the Birds are 2-0, with a division win already in their pocket, and another statement victory at Arrowhead. The repeat tour is off and running, and if this was Sirianni’s audition tape for backup QB, 31 teams should be calling.
