Shocker: Joe Giglio is struggling to give the Eagles the benefit of doubt this weekend vs Rams

Joe Giglio struggles to say anything coherent every time he walks into 94.1 WIP so this should really come as no surprise to anyone that his peanut-sized brain can’t grasp the Eagles beating the Rams this weekend, at home, to improve to 3-0 in the early goings of the 2025 NFL season.

Side Note: Isn’t it just “benefit of doubt” and not “benefit of the doubt” in that context? I’m not the Grammar Police but that’s just perfect given how dumb this clip is.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why Giglio or really anyone looks at September Football as a scope of evaluating a team. We are literally in Week 3 of the NFL season and on top of that, starters barely even see the field during preseason these days so everything is always bad the first few weeks of the season. 

This happens every year. Just insane behavior to spin a narrative on the radio trying to convince Eagles fans that’s it’s something else. On top of that, The Philadelphia Eagles have won 18 out of their last 19 games. They are 2-0 and beat the Rams twice last year already.

Last week, it was Elliot Shorr-Parks saying that losing in Arrowhead would be acceptable and now Joe Giglio is here to tell everyone that the Eagles don’t deserve the benefit of doubt against the Los Angeles Rams at The Linc on Sunday. 

I still go back and blame Spike Eskin for ruining Philly Sports Talk Radio and the fact that guys like Joe Giglio do his bidding on a weekly, if not daily basis is absolutely disgusting. 

Philly sports fans deserve better. They deserve to have radio hosts who don’t mock them with their words on air. They deserve to have civil and intelligent discourse on the teams that they pour their hearts, souls, and wallets out for.

The fact that 94.1 WIP hosts like Joe Giglio are determined to take that away from us should enrage all of us to demand for something better. We deserve it.
