Former Eagles corner posts the first-ever perfect PFF grade with an all-time Week 3 performance
Yeah… the Eagles probably should have given Isaiah Rodgers that $7M contract.
The former Eagle corner had the best outing of his career in Week 3, accounting for three forced turnovers and two defensive touchdowns. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a defensive performance quite like it, and apparently, neither has Pro Football Focus.
For the first-time in the PFF era, they handed out a perfect 99.9 grade to Rodgers.
Eagles probably regret not bringing this guy back
Just an insane stat line fro Rodgers. The dude can ball. Even last year, he finished with the 12th-best grade among qualifying corners (83.4). He may be on the shorter side, but his big play ability is second to none. The Vikings got him on an absolute bargain too. 2 years, $11M is highway robbery. Philadelphia hasn’t felt his loss too too much. Adoree Jackson has been OK through three weeks. He’s obviously not on the same level as Rodgers, though.
I’m happy for Isaiah Rodgers, honestly. I just hope he doesn’t keep making big plays when we play Minnesota in a few weeks.
