WATCH: Giants players are not very excited for Jaxson Dart’s first career start
The vibes around the New York Giants have been awful for years now. I remember when Eagles vs. Giants used to actually be fun. Now, it’s typically circled as a get-right game.
After starting 0-3, New York has already pulled the plug on the Russell Wilson experiment and are turning to rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart. Fans are obviously excited. Wilson was a complete dud.
As for the players in the locker room, they don’t seem as enthused. When asked about Dart’s first start, defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence basically said, “Yeah, it’s just another day in the life of being a New York Giants football player.”
Giants’ vibes still at an all-time low
Man… I almost feel bad for the guy. It has to be exhausting going through this same bullshit routine year in and year out. Lawrence is a great ball player. He has to know he’s wasting his prime years right now. That’s the look of a defeated man if I’ve ever seen one.
I almost feel bad for the fans too, but then I remember New York fans are some of the worst people on this great green Earth. And once I remember that, I actually get a little dopamine boost.
