Bethpage Rory Lowry State Troopers Fans

Welcome to Bethpage: Fans are getting tossed and State Troopers are now following Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry

We’ve officially reached the point where state troopers are lining the ropes around Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry. Fans are getting ejected left and right.

Honestly, it was only a matter of time. Rory and Shane have been barking back at the crowd for two straight days, and now the whole thing has turned into a mini-circus.

We would all be stupid to forget how the Americans were treated in Rome last time around. I’m beyond sick of the Europeans pretending like they have all the class and everything that the Americans do is the worst thing they’ve ever witnessed in golf.

Someone tell Joel Beall to get a grip, please.

The only rule of trash talk is that you don’t bring up family. That’s it. Off-limits. Everyone knows it. Beyond that it’s fair game. Pinehurst chirps? Of course you’re going to hear about Pinehurst. That’s golf trash talk 101.

“Fuck yous”? How about you fucking spare me, Joel Beall. You have one too many L’s in your last name too, pal, so do us all a favor. If it’s too much to be telling players to fuck off in the middle of the Ryder Cup at on American soil, then don’t leave the house.

What’s driving me insane is how European reporters and the NBC crew act like American fans are ruining the Ryder Cup. It’s been non-stop whining all week.

Maybe instead of crying about heckles, Europe should be thankful the setup neutered Bethpage into a putting contest and that Team USA rolled out some of the worst pairings imaginable.

Welcome to Bethpage: If you don’t want to hear it, don’t lose.

That goes for both sides of the equation. The Americans need to some emotion, win a couple matches, and maybe the fans at Bethpage will have something else to do than to trash Rory and Shane relentlessly.

Personally, I hope they continue to do that too but you get my point.

Again, everything’s fair game outside of family. This is Bethpage. This is New York.

If Rory and Shane want polite applause, they’re in the wrong country.
