Aaron Rodgers

WATCH: Aaron Rodgers version of the Eagles Tush Push is pure comedy

The Steelers and Vikings faced off in Dublin, Ireland, and let me just say it — this was one of the best international games the NFL has put on in a while. Aaron Rodgers vs. Carson Wentz. Two competitive teams, a good atmosphere, and not some garbage matchup nobody cares about. More of this, please, NFL.

But while the football was solid, the biggest headline wasn’t even a touchdown or a defensive play. Nope. It was Aaron Rodgers literally doing nothing on a Steelers tush push — and somehow making it hilarious.

WATCH: Aaron Rodgers wants no parts of the Tush Push

Look, let’s just call it what it is: the entire NFL has officially gone full copycat mode on the Eagles’ tush push. Everyone dragged Philly for it the last two years, and now every team in the league is out here trying to run their own version.

The Steelers lined up for their attempt, but instead of Aaron Rodgers taking the snap, they had massive tight end Darnell Washington crouch under center to be the “tush” that gets pushed. Meanwhile, Rodgers? He just stood there behind the play, hands on his hips, and can you really blame the old man?

ARod gets it. He’s no Jalen Hurts. He’s not squatting 600 pounds. And while people may laugh at him for this, I think he was showing a great admiration and respect for the Tush Push. He let the players who are built to run this masterpiece of a play do their thing.

Carson Wentz Tried… But Did Carson Wentz Things

On the other side of the field, I’ll admit I was rooting for former Eagle Carson Wentz to pull off the comeback. The script was written for him to shock the world in Ireland. But in true Wentz fashion, he did what he always does — came up short. Painfully predictable.

It’s at the point now as Eagles fans we should all just feel bad for the guy. I mean we’ve won another Super Bowl since his departure and built a stacked football team. And meanwhile Carson still can’t catch a break.

Anyhow, it’s safe to say the Tush Push ain’t going anywhere. I mean, we got all these other teams running our play now.
